You are a litter picker working in the Gardens of Dalchester. Unfortunately for you, it seems you aren't alone... There is a strange creature roaming the forest, you must survive for as long as possible, else you risk getting fired... But the beast knows something you don't...
Made in 5 days for the New Anglia Jam 2024 by Joshua Bowden, Leon Basson, Daniel Anthony & Ethan Stredder (in spirit). Credits can be found in-game in the credits menu.
Controls:
- WASD to move
- Mouse to look
- Left Click to collect rubbish and put it in the bin.
- Space bar to enable/disable flashlight.
- Left Shift to sprint.
- Escape to quit to main menu.
You can change the mouse sensitivity in the settings menu (in the start screen).

Install instructions
Unzip the downloaded file and open the "The Beast of Dalchester.exe" file to play.

I really enjoyed the style of the game! Would love to see more scenery to explore like abandoned buildings! Really great job on the atmosphere!
